Annalise Wood
Annalise is from Windsor, Colorado. During her ballet training, her parents, Deneice Dyer, and Ixchel Levendosky served as impactful mentors and paved the way for her dream of dancing professionally. In high school, Annalise danced with Front Range Classical Ballet Academy, Canyon Concert Ballet, and International Ballet School, and attended summers at Houston Ballet Academy. She was lucky enough to be granted a scholarship to attend the University of Utah after high school, where she completed degree tracks in Ballet (BFA) and in Psychology (BS). While completing her degrees, she had the pleasure of joining Ballet West, SLC’s premiere professional ballet company, as a trainee. Here, she danced repertoire like Jekyll and Hyde, Cinderella, Peter Pan, Symphony in C, Second Before the Ground, and The Nutcracker. She was promoted to Ballet West II in 2025 and to Apprentice in 2026. Alongside ballet, Annalise loves reading, tea, biking, bouldering, sketching, and appreciating all types of art!
