Karissa Fidler

 When she took up ballet as a hobby at 7 years old, Karissa always wanted to teach someone what she was learning. She began assisting with ballet instruction at age 13 at Berthoud Dance Company, and upon turning 16, Karissa was granted a few classes of her own. She continued teaching 3-8 year olds at BDC through 2019. Around that time, Karissa had the privilege of participating in Teacher Training provided by Ixchel Levendowsky at FRCBA, where she found her love for working with teen and adult students. This will be Karissa's first official year teaching at FRCBA as she looks forward to sharing her love of classical movement with aspiring individuals.
