Violet Jupiter

FRCBA Faculty

Violet Jupiter was born in Alabama, but moved to Fort Collins as a toddler. She moved through the Poudre School District as a student at Dunn Elementary, Lesher, and graduated from Poudre Global Academy, so she could mesh vigorous ballet training with her academic pursuits. She’s danced at FRCBA since she was 13, finding ballet later than some dancers, but in the right timing for her after also exploring track and field as a sprinter and long jumper.

She’s attended summer intensive training with Ballet Austin. Her favorite stage performance was dancing Nutcracker Coffee.

Violet believes in strong technical foundations in ballet, while bringing her unique joy and artistry into every dance. She enjoys teaching young dancers because she can help teach good habits early, while also inspiring creativity and fun.
